After 25 years of manufacturing mattresses in Southern California, Custom Comfort Mattress decided to offer a line to showcase the best of what they do.

Brothers, Mel and Marty Trudell started working at a mattress factory when they were very young. As these mattress companies were being bought out by bigger companies they noticed that the quality was being sacrificed for the bottom line. They decided to strike out on their own to continue building mattresses using craftsmanship and superior materials. They decided to sell directly to the public for several reasons. One was cost savings passed on to their customer and the other was to guarantee that they would be able to directly interact with their customer based on issues, service and concerns. This proved to be a successful business model as they expanded from one location to several retail stores. In the last few years, Custom Comfort Mattress has noticed that the market was changing. The value of a good mattress was starting to build up as a few more companies entered the market to sell quality mattresses with the ancillary prices with it.
